Default Carpet Dye

Anybody have any experiences with carpet dye? My carpet is a little faded but otherwise in very good condition. Any brand recommendations? thanks

I worked at a car lot while back that would pull out nasty old carpets...scub them...and dye them. if you take your time it could trun out nice! If i remember right they would just go to like pep-boys or oreilys and get the off the shelf kind.

Will try it this weekend and show you guys pics. I dyed the vinyl and painted my door surround and am amazed at how good it looks. My carpet is in very good condition.... just a little faded from the sun....
