does this sound right?
a local restoration shop owner came to the house to do to look at my stang to see what i need for new body panels. didnt suprise me until he got under the car and said my torque boxs were missing? what are torque boxs is my question. im replacing the panels on the car myself im going with door skins, quarter skins, outer wheel wells, trunk drop offs, tail light panel. the hole under neith of the cars been undercoated witch i dont want. im planning of haveing the floor replaced ive heard its not easy replacing them so ill have a shop do it. i plan on getting the frame checked befor i put in subframe conectors. but is a torque box an easy fix? what is it?

Yes a 70 Mustang should have them. The 65-66 coupe and fastback did not have them.
They are metal boxes that are welded to the sub frame and the rocker panels right under the front of the door to stiffen up the chassis. If yours have rusted out, you need to replace them at the same time as you replace the floors.
