Do you think using a heat gun to soften up the mat will make it adhere better, or room temperature work just as well?

Looking back at the pics, I'd cover up those wheel wells better....
i bought the dynamat xtreme and it doesnt need the use of a heat gun, the old dynamat did need a heatgun to adhere better, but since it was 91 degrees i think it adhered pretty good. i though about that wheel well cause thats where alot of noise will come from, so i will buy some more and cover those up
