Default pricing?

I am about to convert my '67 I6 to a 351W, and I am hoping to sell my I6 for some spare cash. The problem is that I am unsure of how much to sell it for. It is bare stock except for new plugs, wires, oil filter, and rebuilt carburetor (rebuilt by a local carburator shop) . Would it be smart to rebuild it, or just sell it the way it is? I know it isnt going to go for very much, but anything will do. This engine has about 185K miles on it so it may not even be worth anything at all. [8D] Any help is appreciated.

When I sold my 200 6cyl I put one of the free ads in the Sunday paper and sold the engine with a 3 spd tranny for $50. I just wanted it out of the garage so I would have given it away if someone wanted it. It had slightly over 100k miles and needed hardened valve seats. It was smoking a little.

Should be worth its weight for scrap. Have you looked on ebay to see if there are any selling. Might get a feel for what you can get...
