Default Radiator ?

If I remove my radiator cap and start my car should I see the coolant moving? When I do this I dont see any movement. Does this mean the radiator is plugged up or does it mean the water pump is not working? Thanks

You won't see movement until it is up to temp, and the thermostat opens.

Remember to have someone working the throttle, or the cooling system is going to dump a bunch of coolant on the ground when the thermostat opens.

The coolant won't dump any coolant on the ground if the system is set up properly.

Everytime I have run an engine without the cap on the radiator, it will eventually over flow out of the neck unless someone is pushing on the throttle. I admit I could be wrong, but I have always thought that is due to the system trying to pressurize when the thermostat opens. When the throttle is low, the pressure increases.
