Okay everyone,
This ismy latest project restoration, everything has been replaced on this car down to the last bolt to make this car look the way it does. It has a 390-ci engine with power disc brakes all the way around. I have added nothing to the motor than the factory equipment. I have everything on this car done right even to the rims with a 10-spoke style. The interior is all refinished with the same disign but with different color code. The reason I am posting this car is cause I am thinking about selling it. I want your opinion on what you think I should start it out at. I was thinking around $26,000. The motor has only 3400 miles on it since installed. It was totally rebuilt with all new parts. I went with power disc brakes from a 1987 mustang 5.0 for better braking abilty. There is not on flaw on this car, nor bondo.

Scroll down a few comments and I have posted pics of the motor.

The original GT 350's had a modified 289 K code engine that got just over 300 horsepower. That is the only engine they ever had because the 302, 351, 390, 428 or whatever had not even been invented. Now, starting in 67 the GT 500 got the 390.

the paint looks REALLY nice to me, and thats a big deal to some people. 26 sounds about right for a fastback in good shape, you might get more, maybe less. id do what soaring said and ebay it or craigslist it for 26g reserve.
I don't know, I think maybe more, that green "electronic boutique" car sold for $42,000 a few days ago, I think that the OPs car is a much nicer car...

it would appear to me that the car pics and the engine bay are not of the same vehicle.
390 was never an option, never used in the GT 350, any year.
Sure as hell wouldnt fit in a 66 engine bay without some major mods
Aussie, he stated the front clip is from a Fox body Mustang. I consider that major mods.

I thought the GT 500s came with a 428, not a 390. I may be wrong though.

Something about this thread doesn't add up

The engine compartment pictures he posted are not those of a 65/66 Mustang. The radiator support and hold down bracket are from a 69/70 and the shock towers are not modified, the shock absorber mounts are clearly visible. If it was a Fox body front clip, it would have McPhereson struts, not shocks. It's not the same car that he posted the pictures of in his first post, the white stripes are also gone. Can you say, pullin our chain?
