I found a power steering upgrade kit for a 65/66 mustang, can that be put into a 67?

depends on what kind of kit we're talking about and what parts are included. I'm assuming it's an OEM type and it includes a steering gearbox. Early '67s have the same steering gearbox as a 65/66 with the long steering shaft and 1" sector, later '67s have the same steering gearbox as a '68 with the short steering shaft and 1 1/8" sector. As far as I know the control valve and slave cylinder would be the same.

a 65/66 kit will not fit your 67. i have a 68 and when i bought my used power steering kit for my car i bought it off a 68 to ensure the fit. since the 67 and 68 are basicly the same car it will fit either year, but the 65/66 steering is a different length and wont fit into your car.
