65 or 67 Battery tray
The 64 - 66 trays mount the battery across and the 67 mountsit front to back. I suppose with a big hammer you can modify a 67 to fit your 65. The question is - why? And trunk mounting requires a major expense in wire - another why?

No big hammer needed look here----- http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....Z5Z5Z50000081b
That's a 66 style tray with a couple of hooks for the long 'J-bolts' and the top cross bar from a 67 so a battery without the mounting flange on the base will work. I got one on my 66 hardtop. It's a more positive mounting in any case. The bottom bracket is $9.95, the top bracket is $4.95, the hardware is $2.95 - all from NPD. Ifyou need a new tray, that's more.
