Try laundry detergent, powder not liquid, dissolved in warm (hot) water, brush with a medium soft brush.

I like Tide for cleanup,,,,

aussie sounds like you had alot of fun.isnt there some law saying if you modify your car any way you gotta change it to rhd.i know a couple aussies they always tell me the car laws down there are tough.

yeh thats exactly it
my car should have ZERO mods from original.
but it is a load of BS. Theoretically, my car is not roadworthy because I put seatbelts in it. If i ever get grief for that, i will go to court and fight it.

Provided you keep your nose clean and the car looking pretty straight as mine does, then generally you can get away with a few things. Shiny bling under the hood is obvious to even the dumbest member of the constabulary. but if everthing is Ford blue or has Ford decals, usually they dont know any different.

So, my aim is a clean engine bay (with mods hidden within the engine) and interior that looks pretty stock apart from my beloved Grant wheel. Suspension and brakes are improved but still old school. I'd love to go coil overs and larger wheels to fit some big brakes, but thats only an option if i change it to RHD. That is a $8-10k exercise. If it came to that, i'd sell this car and look for a rust free shell to build a road going rocket ship from hell...still looking pretty stock from the outside

i do like some of aus laws like on the motorcycle permit you limited on the cc of bike usa there isnt any limit.or the if you put a bigger engine you gotta use bigger brakes.one of my idiot friends has a 69 camaro 4 wheel drums but has about a 800hp big block in it and he wonders why i wont ride with him.you wouldnt believe how many rust buckets you see on the roads of the usa every now and then you see one floor is rusted so bad out the carpet is draging on the ground. something like that isnt safe when will people learn.

haha
they wont learn thats why the rest of us have to put up with bs rules!

my theory is 50% ofholders of drivers licences are below average intelligence. 50% of them have below average hand eye coordination. Where the subsets meet is a scary place to be.
