Default New carb instillation

Hey guys, my new 570 holley street avenger just came in and i'm needing some advice on installation....

I found this site with what seems like a manuel: http://www.holley.com/data/Products/Technical/199R10219-3.pdf'

But it refers alot towards the beginning about a spring and perch kit that i don't believe i have, but i am taking off an existing holley so i'm a little confused...Anyone done this swap before please let me know, the instructions are a little hazy cuz everything refers to an AUTO tranny and not a manuel. thanks

If you have a manual don't worry about the kickdown linkage etc. I put the 570 on my 302 with a manual, just install it properly, connect the throttle linkage and the return spring, plump it and you're good to go....it'll prolly need some tuning though but should be reasonably close outta the box

If the old one works right, just hook the new one up like the old one

Be sure you're running a dual throttle return spring....in case one should break.

Sorry for the massive photo...
(That's a 1969 throttle cable)

Yeah, dual throttle return spring is a VERY good idea. Also I think most tracks will require you have one(or 2 rather)if you go to run your car
