Default Spring saddles/perches?

Been having no luck with this lately so I need your help guys. My one saddle is obviously junk, it easily compresses both ways and "bottoms out" on the control arm...also crunches loudly. I wrote the distributor and they said they'd have another one out to me asap. Ok, well, now Im paranoid about the other one. How stiff should these be? The other one is much stiffer but I can push it down. It make little crunches too but not nearly as bad as the other. Opinions?

id send them back or throw them out and get the roller ones from opentracker. i think they should be really stiff since they are new sounds like they messed up making them or send you a used one.

I've not tried them yet, but everyone I know that has installed the roller perches swears by them. You can get them already assembled, or can buy kits and cut/weld them up yourself.
