Default Starter keeps spinning...

Alright, maybe someone here can identify this problem and come up with a fix. When I had to replace the starter earlier this year, the replacement seems to just keep spinning after it disengages from the flywheel. The old one didn't have the problem.

I have a video with audio to help you all get an idea of the noise, it's the higher pitched winding down noise. Hopefully someone here can help.

If you need it on a different host please let me know.

I would suspect the bendix spring is not disengaging. Has it done that from the get go with that starter? I would take it out and take it to where you bought it and have them test it.

Yeah, done it from the start. I don't really want to pull it again but I guess I can sometime this week.
