That is pretty cool looking car. I forgot to say before that your engine looks great. Need some audio when you get her up and running.

yo DO know that avgas is lacking some sort of upper cylinder lubricant that automotive engines need right? make sure you blend it with either premium pump gas or racing fuel.

avgas here still contains lead - its real gas. the lead is the lubricant.
hence its illegal for anything but race track work. the greenies havent woken up to that yet, so we have a moratorium till 2009

of course I can also run some thru the stang for a bit of extra kick...provided i dont get caught.[sm=gears.gif]

thanks James, there were a lot of holes in that engine bay and it still isnt near perfect. She's had a couple of smacks in the front under the control or lack thereof of the previous owner.

still need to...
finish the wiring
fit all the switches etc, fire extinguisher, new 6 point harness
Fit a passenger seat (just for charity days)
plumb up the oil accumulator, cooler and remote filter setup
various suspension bracing to things like lower control arms
refit grill, lights and other trim pieces.
find some more tires

the hold ups are custom headers to be made, getting the clutch reset (something not right with the fingers), getting the factory 8000 tach recalibrated for elec ignition and getting a new driveshaft made.

the bank balance is taking a hammering. I've spent $12k in the last month alone.
