Sweet. Keep us updated (with pictures) on the final result.

I assume this car is a "she."

sorry, shoulda posted some info. havent been able to wipe the smile off my face all day.
the car is a 1971 Falcon GT - attached an old pic.

the engine is 408w
Holley 750 DP race series
4 bolt mains
AFR 225 Outlaw heads ( http://www.airflowresearch.com/225sbf_rh.php)
Victor Jr manifold
ICE ignition
CSR electric water pump, Edelbrock mech fuel pump (130gph?)
lots of other goodies!

Expected to produce about 600 flywheel horses on avgas with further development possible.
There is still heaps of work to be done, but once the engine is dropped in, you can see light at the end of the tunnel. Man i am so excited

Does that thing have a shaker on it? Kind of reminds me of my 66 falcon.

yeh it has a shaker.
IMO they are the best looking (externally visible)accesory Ford ever made...with the possible exception of the hood scoop on a boss9

mine is going to be modified somewhat as the original shaker aircleaner assy wont fit under it with that manifold and the carb spacer still to be fitted.

our 67 and 68 Falcons were very similar to your 66 model. 69-71 were different. i will post a front and rear pic if i can find one.
