fuse block
Add a second one. It's the easiest way, fresh wire from the hot therminal on the solenoid thru the firewall (a well insulated hole) to a new fuse block. New wires to what you want to do. Where? That's your call.

Weeeellllllll....
I kinda never got around to putting the glove box back in....

But... you could hang it along the side, between the glovebox and the door jamb, just above the kick panel. There's room.

That's what I did...brought in a 6 gage wire directly off the + battery terminal and set up a new fuse block behind the glove box.

If you want a modern car, why not put the damn fuses in the engine compartment where all modern cars have them?
what i wanted to dowas remove the old and and add a new one that had a few hot all the time and a few hot with a key acc, i know i will have to splice wires but if i use solider and heat shrink it should be fine ???
No. Do not use the 40 year old wires to do anything they were not meant to do. If you want to go restomod and add a lot of high power equipment, then you need to add a whole new wiring system with the fuse box as JamesW showed you, but just don't place it behind the glove box.
no no i am not adding a lot of things just like the radio and a new elect fan ,, right now i have a lot of things coming from the eng compartment back to the inside cause the old fuse block just its big enough i am not adding a high tech stuff , i will run a new wire to feed the fuse block , but i need find one that has a few hot all the time and few acc.hot

You actually put a fuse box behind the glove box where you could not get to it without removing the glove box?

Either assist, or don't comment... but leave the unconstructive criticism at the door please.
