How many days of rain have you guys in Texas got?
It is insane, isn't it? I don't know how you guys did in NorCal, but we barely got 3" of rain for the year here in L.A., an all time measured low. I feel like a raisin!

Spent the 4th coming back from a funeral in Arkansas, was planning to stop a Dallas Mustang on the afternoon of the third, but we didn't get there in time, so my family and I spent the 4thon the road.... which means no beer... no fireworks.

Oh we got back to Las Cruces about an hour before dark, it was clear and sunny, by dark, a hell of a storm rolled in with rain and high winds, no official fireworks in Las Cruces.....

Spent the day with friends and hit Tombstone, AZ for dinner and beer.

Thanks to those who have sacrificed so much for us.

I lived within a half hour of Tombstone for most of my life, I will assume you were at Fort Huachuca, that explains your screen name..... except for the "arctic" part.

How many days of rain have you guys in Texas got? I remember a few years back there was a drought down there where cattle men were cutting their herds or shipping them to other states.
Anybody have a 'drowned' Mustang?
Jim
This is the 16th day in a row where it has rained at least an inch here in the hill country. The lakes around Austin are all completely full and they are having to open the flood gates on the dams. The countryside is beautifully green though.

Today's radionews said a whole bunch of really bad things happening in Texas and Oklahoma. We started our 'drought' this year. On the Fourth, it was 94 but the humidity was 29 pct. The hills are 'brown', the winds are high and I'm afraid that the 'pyros' will do something stupid.

A town not too far from here got 19 inches in one day last week. So, you have pyromaniacs in your neck of the woods, huh?

this rain will never end. my dad let me take out his 65 gto 389 tri power 4 speed vert yesterday with some friends so we could cruise for the fourth, we were gone for about an hour and a half when the rain gods decided to ruin our fun, and then we had a very wet 65 gto 389 tri power with a 4 speed
