Had a great day. I started it taking my 5-year old twins for a tour aboard the USS Rentz, a frigate based out of San Diego which is spending a few days in San Pedro. It was a fascinating look inside and active war machine and the sailors were very friendly and entertaining. After that is was BBQ and hanging out poolside all day. After dark we watched the illegal fireworks shooting off all over the city. Couldn't ask for a better day.

Eh, was rather depressing tbh. However, I actually got a lot of hours at work the next few weeks, so I'll be able to buy something for my Mustang for once!

Very nice 4th - woke up late, ate at Denny's [&:], watched the Rangers whoop up on the Angels, then watched fireworks after the game. Now, back to work...[:'(]

I played my trombone in the local community band in the afternoon, but we got flooded out for the evening concert and fireworks.

How many days of rain have you guys in Texas got? I remember a few years back there was a drought down there where cattle men were cutting their herds or shipping them to other states.
Anybody have a 'drowned' Mustang?

End of the day was good, I was sick for the earlier part of the day though. At about 1 pm me and my buddy went to Starbucks, then worked on my stang for a little while and then to top it off we went over to his house, cooked a couple of 32 oz. steaks and watched the fireworks off the butte. Great day, especially after we found out my truck can smoke the tires.
