Default Wire Terminal Block - '67 Coupe

I have the motor out of my '67 Coupe, upgrading to power steering. Since the motor was out, and the steering column was loose (to replace my steering box), I cleaned up and painted my engine bay. I pushed the steering column up inside the car to paint around it. When I did, I hurt a couple wires that come out of the steering column. The green wire tore apart so I spliced it back together. The yellow wire pulled itself out of the terminal block. What's the trick to getting the wire back into the terminal block? I tried holding the back side with needle-nosed pliers and pushing it back in, but it didn't go very far. I stopped in fear of tearing something up.

Worst case, I'll just cut the yellow wire from the other half of the connector and put male and female connectors on the two yellow wires. But I'd very much rather get that wire back into the terminal block where it belongs.

You need a contact removal tool, NPD 2007 pg 197 $13.50. After it's out, you can spread the crimp, insert the wire and recrimp.

Look at the item in this auction.

You'll notice the end of the wires have a hard metal piece that plugs into a terminal block. The entire thing came out. I don't know if there's supposed to be a 'tang' that holds it into the block, if it needs to be turned a certain way to insert, or what. The wire pulled out of the block intact. Recrimp is NOT what I need to do.

I have the tool (957-2). The tool is for removing the wire from the terminal block. I need to insert the wire.

By the way, thanks again for the lead on the motor mounts. I think Packy put them in the mail today.
