Default pillar pads

Purchased pillar pads from npd, with mounting kit. It's been four years since I tore everything down. There are no mounting holes in the pillar, so this must not be the right mounting kit. Any help out there?

My 68 has clips like door panels do and just press into holes on the pillar. There should be a couple holes on the underside of the pad that the clips mount to.

That's what they sent me, like the door panels but there are no holes in the A-pillars, any suggestions?
