Default 95 Mustang 3.8L Front end noise issue

Hey guys, so i have a bad metal on metal rattle noise in the front end when going over any rough road at all. I just replaced my entire suspension, bushings and all, so i know its not any of that. I think i have narrowed it down to somewhere in the brakes. I was driving over a brick road the other day and it was really bad, so i lightly pressed the brake pedal to apply pressure and the noise completely stopped, let off and its back. ive check the pads and there seems to be a bit of play in them. I recently replaced them thinking the old ones were an issue, but they didnt come with any metal slide brackets or anything like that, and so the same issue endures. Anybody have this issue, or have any suggestions. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to be thorough. Thanks in advance.
