Default Rough Idle and Vibration

Hey
I was driving around in my 69 351w and all of a sudden I was getting a vibration, espically under any type of acelleration. And even at Idle it doesn't sound or feel right.

Any thoughts?

Since then I got my hands on a Infarred Temp light and everything is normal temp except cylinder #6. It was very low

So I changed the spark plug wires around and it was the same thing.
Then I changed the spark plug...same thing.

So I changed the cap on the distributor and its still the same.

Any other thoughts on what It could be???

Are you sure you have the spark plug wires hooked up right? Tell me what your firing order is so that I know you know how to hook them up.

Check your vacuum lines. Did your idle change any?
Check your spark plug wires to see if any are cracked.
Check your engine grounds.
Check your fuel filter

hmm low temp makes me think no airl fuel in cyl to ignite if you have new plugs and wires

Are you getting spark to the #6 plug? Pull it and crank it around a couple of times and see if you are getting spark to the plug.

Very low temp on one cylinder tells me that that one quit firing for whatever reason.

Hey,
It can't be the fireing order because It ran like this for months before anything changed.

I put the timing light on the wire and it is lighting up so I should be getting spark. Its a new plug.

I already tried other wires to see, so it;s not a cracked wire

Checked vacuum lines, but that wouldn't explain only one cylinder running so low.Same with fuel filter.

1 3 7 2 6 5 4 8 I believe was the fireing order.I'd have to double check.

So do you think it could be a intake valve? Maybe getting no fuel/air to fire?
