where is the temp sender?

or thermostat, its my very last connection to do, and i dont know where it is

same place basicly you know where your upper radiator hose goes to the intake. theres a lil metal pipe thing it slides on thats the housing the temp sensor goes on a bung there. take that housings 2 bolts off theres the thermostat just remember when you take it out of the spring is facing up or down.

cool cool, makes sense, cept 1 problem, i gotta cleveland[8D]upper hose goes to the block and i didnt see any little pipe deal

take the upper hose off where it attaches on the engine thats the thermostat housing youll see 2 bolts take them off and off it comes.

i forgot the upper hose goes on the block like the 385 family 429/460

Did you find it? My temp sending unit on my Cleveland is just below where the thermostat and upper radiator hose enter the block. It is basically right next to the water pump. There is another spot in the water pump where it might be, but from what I understand that spot is not as accurate of a reading.
