How much to offer someone for a 1965 door with a fairly small patch of rust in the bottom corner, working window cranks and door locks (takes a little muscle to move them tho), with good hinges, along with inner door skin but is crap? It does need alottt of sanding inside and out. (cars in the junkyard) I just dont want to offend him and ruin my chances of getting it for a good deal lol.

thats what i was thinking but...this guy is hard to bargin with but he is the only place within 2 hrs to my house with mustangs in a junkyard. but he gave me a great deal on a pair of fenders for the 65, he told me 40 for both, along with the chrome strip for the hood, ford letters, and bolts

 

just ask him say i dont want to offend you but how much do you want for that whole car if its more than you want to pay you can walk away if its a steal hand him the cash and no one gets offended

 

Start low, all he can say is "no".
