1969 dash pad removal

Default 1969 dash pad removal

how do you remove the dash pad from a 1969 mustang.. i have removed all the screws but it is still stuck up along the windshield... how do i get that this thing off...

when i took mine i off i remember just taking out the screws and it came out easily, but someone on here will be able to help ya out

I think there is three screws at the windshield, one on each end (behind plastic peice) and there are screws up underneath for the passenger side "dash area" (for mach 1 its a clock), and screws for gauges that go up into the dashpad. There might also be a screw in the center above where the radio would be, but i'm not sure one that one. All it is is screws, be sure to have them all out and if its still stuck try giving it a few solid, but not rough hits with your palm to pop it up. It might have set in there nicely over the years.
