Default Value of a 65'

I am trying to aquire a green, 65' GT coupe, in good condition. The only modification he has done to it is anti locking brakes. What should I be willing to pay for it?

A 65 GT would have disc brakes as standard equipment so be leery of what other claims are made. If you can get some pictures, the VIN number and the info from the data plate on the drivers door, we can tell you what you have.

You guys are probably right, I'm far from an expert. I have been admiring it for a year or two, and as I am about to get my learners permit I became more interested. I went to the house the car was parked at and the owner was at work so I talked to his wife. The wife said that he did something to the brakes, but she didn't really know what.

open the drivers door and find the door tag, copy the numbers down off the tag and post them and we can tell you pretty much what the care is and how much it might be worth

but there are a ton of variables that affect a cars value, so pics would be good too

What kind of condition is it in? If you can get that VIN and door tag info, it'd be alot of help and also get some pics if you can.

It looks like a nice car from what I can see. What kind of condition is the interior in? If the interior isn't too bad I'd offer her around $6000. If the interior needs redone I'd give her $4500-$5000. I could be wrong but I paid $5000 for mine and had to re-do the interior and I had to repaint it.
