Default Engine help please!

Spark plug gap for a 302 HO???? I've spent a good hour on the web and can't freaking find it... anyone have a link??? or know?

Plug Gap is 0.034in or0.86mm

302 HO = 1985 and up

'85 GT = 0.044" with the Duraspark II ignition
EFI 5.0 = 0.054"
Early 302 = 0.035" with points ignition

If you have an MSD or equivalent ignition, .054" will work nicely.

0.054 huh? Man, that's a wide gap. On our old 289's with pertronix, if we venture past about 0.045 we are in trouble. When was the firts year for that HO engine, and what makes it so special. EFI???

different firing order it switched to the 351 order and had a serpentine belt and efi
