CABLE CLUTCH
If you want to use a cable, get the bellhousing and clutch fork from the '82 and buy the clutch conversion from www.mustangsteve.com and you'll be good to go. By itself, the '82 stuff won't work.

I built one before Steve started selling units.. (actually we built this in his garage, after which he got busy and came up with his current design).
The unit operated fine, but I had trouble with the cable getting into the headers....so I went with a home made hydraulic system.
