A number of guys have 17" wheels on this forum. I personally like the 16's better but that is just my opinion. You have to be careful of rubbing issues. Checkout dodgestang's fitment guide in the FAQ section. Good luck!!

Either 15 or 16" wheels for the 65-66, then with the 67 and up you can go as high as 17's.

I have the same design Cragar SL's on my 67. They have 245/45/17 on them. I love them...go with it.

The next time you are in Wal-Mart Orange, buy yourself a decent camera. I almost lost sight in my right eye trying to decifer through that blur.

So you don't think they'll fit? I wonder if I could find 16's in that style and finish.

17x7 with 225/45/17 tires are probably as big as you want to go. I have 17x8 with 245/45/17 tires and I had to roll the fenders to get clearance.

edit.... and I have 4.5" back set on my wheels too. Depending on the brakes I believe a person could go all the way to a 4.75" back set before getting into the control arm.

I have factory disks up front so what back spacing do you think I can go up to?
