having trouble finding replacment foam for my front bench. has anybody reupholster front bench seats before and know of a good tech article and/or place to get replacement parts?

 

nope, no one makes the foam. You have to take 2 buckets, chop them up a little, and glue them together, to the "middle" part, for the foam. Lots of places have replacement parts (just not the foam).

The foam buns for the seat backs are the same, and as Stephen recoments, it's a cut and paste fix. You might get some sutible foam from an uphostery shop or even the dumpster of a large company that receives items packed in foam.
