Default In Dash Stereo Mounting

Are there kits to mouth standard aftermarket stereos in a 68 Mustang. I have the center console that extends from the dash down to the floor. I have looked online, some some searches but can only find OEM type decks for Mustangs, and now mounting hardware/concole adapters...The OEM ones all come with cutouts for an old knoby deck....

Thanks

Time to get inovative. Get some metal plumbers tape and make a bracket.

I think I should be able to fashion an internal bracket, but for now (will be getting new front console when I finish restroing interior) I just cut the foam to the size of the opening and cut/bent the metal insert. It just looks really bad (though no worse than the rest of the interior right now).

I'd like to have a proper finished console that looks like it belongs....

I added an aftermarket stereo in my 67, but mounted it in the glove compartment. This way I was able to keep the original look in the dash and still have a newer system to listen to. To me, the new digital stereos look out of place in a vintage Mustang, just my opinion.
