69 widshield wiper motor
The motor can be removed after you remove the cowel cover (the piece of metal immediately in front of the windshield). The motor comes out from outside the car and not from under the dash. I believe the '69 is the same as my '70. I would double check the switch, fuse and connections with a volt-ohm meter before removing the motor.

EDIT oh yeah and be sure to unplug the wiring and push the gromet through the hole.
