When drilling the spot welds out to take off the old quarter i went a little to far... will this be ok ? or should i try to plug the hole from both sides with the mig welder from the inside.

I would plug it from both sides to get a bump of weld,then gring it back flat.

 

I may have a hard time getting an angle head grinder in there to clean up my welds

 

you dont use a normal drill bit on spot welds you get a spot weld cutter

 

Well i know that now but its a little to late for that i just want to know if i go ahead and weld in a new quarter how i should deal with those holes properly....

 

Any input before i go ahead and do something i may regret? i thought i would just go ahead and drill into the new quarter and try to weld it to all two pieces of the rear sail panel? is that right?
