mustang monthly did an excellent article on wheel fitment, and clearing the upper balljoint and control arm on 65-66. 16 and under, you need to limit to 7", but I believe the 18" rim could clear the control arm, giving you extra room. look it up in the tech search on the web page.

As much as some of you guys like the big wheels, I don't I'd stick at least with the original size. The only ones that look good with biggerwheels (to me) are 2000-2004 years.

Yes I do, but you kids don't listen to me anyway. How about some 22" wheels? Now, that would be real classy.

haha soaring you crack me up.

when i was driving around the other day i saw two different classic cars ('60s era chevys) with 22"s or something close to that...it made me want to puke. ive decided that when im older and assuming i become a multi-millionare , im just going to bring a set of nice looking classic wheels with me wherever i go and wait for them to park their car then BAM!!! switch their wheels out and sell the others as scrap metal hehe
