mustang monthly did an excellent article on wheel fitment, and clearing the upper balljoint and control arm on 65-66. 16 and under, you need to limit to 7", but I believe the 18" rim could clear the control arm, giving you extra room. look it up in the tech search on the web page.

when i was driving around the other day i saw two different classic cars ('60s era chevys) with 22"s or something close to that...it made me want to puke. ive decided that when im older and assuming i become a multi-millionare
, im just going to bring a set of nice looking classic wheels with me wherever i go and wait for them to park their car then BAM!!! switch their wheels out and sell the others as scrap metal hehe
