Im getting Vintage V40's. What size would look good on a '65coupe?
I do plan to drop the car.

I think you may run into a fitment problem with either size.8" of wheel is well over stock.

i know the front will rub but i plan on cutting 1/4" off the well

Why do you kids want big assed wheels and tires on a classic mustang? These old cars were not designed to accept those large dimensions for wheels and tires.

If choosing from those two, definitely 16", but 8" seems a lil unnecessary. stick to 7" wide, should be better. at least in the front

I picked the 16" but I thought the same as everyone else, why 8"? 7" will do just fine

but they were desgined to be easily mod-able, and with todays after market parts, almost nothing is to extreme for a classic mustang.

I thought lots of '65 '66 guys who have 17" get 8"
