For when I get enough money
I know that, but I was just wondering, because most V8s ive seen are morea round 9grand. Oh and to add on, since my dad would probably make me pay my own insurance with that car, how much do you think it would be for a 16 year old in Southern California.
My aunts computer is being lame so i can't put the exactlink in, but if you go to the Los Angeles Craigslist.com, and type in Classic 1968 Mustang Powerful V8 - $2900 is that a good deal, the car used to be 4000 i think. The kid keeps going lower and its supersteve from this site.
$2,900 sounds pretty good ....... but without pictures and more details about the car, we will not be able to tell you if it is actually a real good deal or if you need to run away from it ...
Personnaly, I bought my 2 mustangs within a 100 miles of where I live ...this way I could go, see the car, drive the car, and decide ... rather than evaluate through pictures ... and also no shipping ..
5 k$ sounds about right for a decent shape car ... that will still need a good bit of work

I guess it depends on your definition of "decent", and how much work you want to do on it. Whatever price range you can afford, my advice would be to spend about $1500 less. Use the extra $1500 to buy a cheap daily driver sot that you can take your time restoring the Mustang, and do it right. Good luck!

1. The car is about 45 miles away from me.
2. I have a daily driver, the only problem with getting a mustang is that my families house has no room.
3. If you go to craigslist and click california then los angeles and type in the description, there are some pictures. It's interior looks fine, though it needs new door panels. On one of his posts, he said all the new parts hes got for it. The only problems that I can tell are the door panels, He said it wouldn't hurt to get another headliner, so I can only assume that that is bad. And paint is needed, and there is a overly large gap between the front of he door and he body there.

heres the link for everyone who doesnt want to go searching for it
as for the car, seems like a decent deal if you dont mind putting some $$ into it. were talking probably minimum $3-4k to make it nice...probably a lot more if you want a paint job that is above macco quality. its always cheaper to buy one restored but its always more fun to fix one up but for a v8 $2900 isnt bad at all...just dont try to rush into something
