jack point on a convertable

Default jack point on a convertable

i got a 72 convertable and i just want to make sure i dont damaged anything when jacking it up to look/work on it. where is a good spot to jack it up frnt and rear and where do i not jack it up or put jack stands under?

I usually lift on the crossmember on front or the framerail just behind the front tire, on the rear the differential,shock plate or right in front of the leaf spring.

^ what he said plus use a cut off 2X4 to help distribute the weight a little.
