Default Trimming console for A/C

Does anyone know how to do this? My car has the full length console and if I add A/C to my car, I'd still like to keep the console. Perhaps someone with an A/C console can give me some measurements on how long their console is.
Thanks

Why not sell it and get a factory a/c one?
It seems the non a/c ones go for more than the a/c ones on ebay.
Stay home and make money.

My current console has a decent size piece of plastic chipped off the driver's side (in the area that would be cut off). So, I doubt I would get enough for it. Good looking out, though!

The AC console is right at 35 1/4" long. I think I remember that there a plastic raised mark on there to tell you where to cut it. Here's mine.

Awesome! Souring, did you have yours cut, or did you originally have A/C- just curious.

Have you thought about an aftermarket kit that does not use the underdash evaporator? Something like this?

In reality you still have to trim some off the upper portion to clear the underdash HVAC box. As you can see it is not noticable unless you climb under the dash.
This also works through your defrost vent to help keep your windshield clear on humid days.
There is a write up of the installationfor this kiton the web page in my signature.
Good luck which ever way you go.
