Default Needle orange paint

Can't find it in a search. Any recommendations for paint for the orange needles for '65 guages? Everything else is in fantastic shape except for the faded needles.

Thanks,
Jeff

Go to your local Wal-Mart, Hobby or Crafts store and look in the Kids section for Model Airplanes. Get a small bottle of Testors Orange paint.

will work great

Testors orange I can find. Flourescent on gunsights? I did a quick search and it came back with glow in the dark body paint.

Oooh, second search under gunsight paint and I found it. Are you serious with this stuff or should there have been a with your post?

I would think it was a serious post. Paint is probably more visible in low light situations and even better with light. better than the flat orange for the toy planes just made to be visible during the day.

I bought a spray can of indoor/outdoor lacquer Krylon floursescent orange spray paint at the auto store (there was a picture of an orange safety cone on it, part 3101). I sprayed some in a plastic cap and dabbed it on the needles with a small brush I had handy. A small piece of sponge would work ok too. I thinkI have enough paint left over for 5000 more needles, but at about $4 for the can, not a problem.

EDIT: I can't figure out how to reply to the right person, sorry.

they do make a good point about flourescent paint. Testors orange works great i get it in the paint marker easy to use.
