69 heater core

Default 69 heater core

so im going to pulling out my heater box in my 69 coupe. i was wondering, im going to be buying one of those heater box rebuild kits. as of right now im my mustangs heater box is heat and ac.. but im not going to use the factory ac, im buying an after market. so do i still need to buy a heater box rebuild kit with the ac option or can i just get the new heater core

well to clarify the heater core is the little radiator type thing that goes inside the heater box. So you can get a new heater core and reuse your old heater box with the AC on it. Unless your heater box is trashed of course, but I don't think its toooo common for that to happen.

your after market AC should tie in with the factory AC/heater box as far as I know.
