Default Disc Brake Help

Hello, I have a small issue. I purchased my 65 Mustang from my cousin, and found a broken wheel stud. My cousin did the disc brake conversion on the car. However he doesn't remember what car he got the disc brakes from. So I can't find a stud. Can I just replace the stud with one that "kinda" matches? Is there a handful of cars that the disc brakes could've came from?......My cousin thinks they came from an early 1970's Maverick. I checked it out...but Mavericks didn't come with disc brakes in early 70's. What are my options?

74-77 Maverick had disc brakes that are the same as Granada type.

Define 'kinda' matches.. Your main concerns would be thread pitch and diameter (Obviously) and the splines in the back to lock into the rotor. I would assume that if you could match those up, it wouldn't be much of a problem to cut it shorter and maybe clean up the ends if need be. Shouldn't have a problem finding a stud though?
