i just learned how to drive stick in my friends integra and its so fun. way better than auto. what exactly do i need to switch from auto to stick?

Transmission & driveshaft yoke
Bell Housing
Flywheel
Clutch/Pressure plate
Throwout Bearing
Throwout arm
Roller bearing in crank
Different length draftshaft
Transmission Mount
Transmission crossmember

Clutch Pedal
Brake pedal
Clutch mechanism (cable, hydraulic, or standard equipment) dependent on the type of trans you're installing
Take off kickdown mechanism
Take off Vacuum line
Take off trans coolant lines

Shifter.
Some rewiring.
- and a bunch of bolts, brackets and nuts.

And money! Dont forget money! The other option is to just throw a rachet shifter onto your auto...

Will the OP need to buy a new hole for the floorboard or will the existing hole be ok???

I don't know for sureif the hole is the same for an auto and a manual, if it is different, someone here might be looking for an auto hole, you might be able to work out a trade or sell it or somthing...

Same mounting holes - but -
Add:
New speedometer cable.
New hole in firewall for speedometer cable (not sure - required on a 64-66).
Shifter plate.

ahhh I wanna do the swap too, but its so damn expensive!! im thinkin about just throwin a hurst quarter stick ratchet shifter into my car[]

im saving up right now to get a t-56 viper trans so much better than the t-5 or the tremek 6 speeds

I made the switch from C4 to Toploader and did not need: new speedo cable, new hole in firewall & there is no shifter plate (bolts right onto tranny).

What year car are we talking about? On my 65, I did not need some of the things listed here ie. used the same driveshaft without needing to alter it in any way.
