Clutch release lever bracket install??
I have a 65 mustang. I'm trying to install a new clutch release lever bracketthat the throw-out bearing fork pivots on inside the bellhousing. It has two aluminum studs that look like they need to be peened over to install the new bracket. I'm having a hard time with this. Can anyone help? thanks ben
Took some pics of a couple bellhousings I have in the garage. One is a 10 inch and has the peened studs. The other is an 11 inch and it has the bolts.
I would be tempted topunchthe studs out in yours, and replace with the hardware that gothand & Jim mentioned.
