Slightly OT Ford 360 question
I just bought a 1969 F100 with a 360 (FE) and C6 auto trans. The engine is quite tired. Two questions:
1. I have a line on a used 360 from a Bronco with a manual trans. I assume I can just change the flywheel to a flex plate? Are there balance issues on the pulley/harmonic balancer if you do that, or is it a straight bolt-on?
2. Where's a good place to go for standard rebuild pieces (pistons, bearings) if I end up rebuilding it? I'm looking to producea decent stock engine, nothing radical.
Thanks for any advice.

i doubt that bronco has a 360 in it, what year is the bronco
78-79 broncos came with 400 and MAYBE the occasional 460
the rest of the broncos (80-96) used 302's and 351w's
a 360 is an industrial engine anyways

I'm wrong; I was mixing my engine ads. See here: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/393114411.html It's a 1976 F150.

ORIGINAL: Soaring
That makes more sense. Broncos had the 302, 351W, 5.0 and the 5.8L engines depending on the year.
