Rear disc options?
I've been looking around on the net for information and products on rear disc conversions for my 67's 9" and would like to get youralls experience and opinions. First off, I found this kit ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...:IT&ih=013)which actually uses GM parts but I would like drilled/slotted rotors to match my front set-up. I cannot find a 11" GM rotor with 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern..
Anyone know of another setup that is compatable with the original small bearing rear? If not, I will then consider doing the Explorer swap that I've heard about, but requires large bearings to be installed aswell.
Any information on what years, models, ect. I should be looking for on the Explorer. A kit would be ok, but I can get the parts locally if they are common at much cheaper except for the rotors.
