Hey Mr. Moderator - If there aren't any legal issues with it, how about assembling a FAQ section where people can list their recommendations on paint and body shops and repair shops by state/city (for example: California/ Whittier Mustang owner A in 2005 (march thru July) had cowl and floor pan replaced, interior and exterior media blasted, epoxy primed and painted (2 base coats, pearl metal flake, 3 clear coats) by X paint and body shop in Whittier and it costs $y.00 very pleased with results - here are the before and after pics.)

Have a requirement to list items such as: dates/length of job, what was done, cost, satisfaction with job and, if possible, pics.

This will hopefully feed business to the shops that do quality work and weed out those that do not. It will also give everyone an idea of what is a fair(?) price for repairs, paint jobs, etc.

Any support for such a project? What are the pros and cons of such a section?

What do you think moderators? You know more than us and control the forum. What are your thoughts?

Great idea. I need to roll my fenders and remove my seat platforms. I want the best shop in OC to do the fab/paint but have no idea who/where to go for the best results.

My vote is YES.

yah i know thats what i thought at first. you should do on saturday and look at the paint jobs theyve done. They have a bunch of pictures of classic mustangs theyve painted. I say its better if you just go just so he can give an estimate and you can ask him some questions.

idk i like them thought. i took my car in to get an estimate and i find out that my car has a lot of bondo![:@]
and theyre actually going to take all of it off.
