Default Header Gasket ?

Just ordered some Tri-y Header for my 289. Will the gasket that comes with them be OK or is there something better to use . Thanks.

They usually send gaskets with the headers. But if not, the Ford dealer will have them in stock.

I have yet to regret putting copper header gaskets on anything....

IMO spend $40.00 on a pair of these, you will not regret it......

The gaskets that come with the headers are crap go to autozone , advance or any other parts store and get the mister gasket black ones. They are coated and seal really good the first time.
