Master Cylinder
Qustion about options for upgrading my braking system. My '66 GT still has the original master cylinder. Although it has been rebuilt as well as the discs, drums and new lines, I would feel safer with a dual resevoir. Is the only answer to go to a power booster or can I get a dual res that is manual?
Nah, there are about 15 different dual master cylinders you can use. Here, do some reading.

The MC bolts right in and is available from NAPA for $75.00. The combination valve is as I said available from NPD and is a bit pricy at $120.00.
Mount the valve where the old distribution valve was in such a way that you can hook up the rear brake line without modification. Fabricate to fit the MC/front lines, it's easier than messing with the back. NAPA should have everything you need including short brake lines with the proper fittings to connect the MC to the combo valve.
The system works great, is a real safety improvement and was cheap enough. Good luck.
