Default 69 C4 trans help and ?

ok so i have a few questions about my C4 trans... one, how many lines run out of the trans. two what is this line for in the pic it comes out of the trans but it just stops right behind the red wires..... and also i have this line which i belive is from my trans but i dont where it goes, it has a rubber hose at one end and the other is just the tube... no fittings. i know its not the ones that run to the radiator...

The one still attached to your transmission and referenced by the red wire is a breather tube. The one on the floor is the vacuum line from your intake manifold toa diaphram 'canister' on the lower rear right hand side of the transmission.
I hate plumbing.

If you look straight on the end of the gold cannister, which is your vacuum modulator, you will see a nipple inside it. Use a SHORT piece of rubber hos to connect it to your hardline. Do not use rubber hose the whole way from the vacuum modulator to the intake manifold. I had a teenage friend of mine do that and we wound u chasing bad shifts and irregular idle on the engine because of a nick in the hose and the vacuum leak that went along with it.
