If I see a guy who cant afford to realize his dreams, yet still has them, I'm always happy to give what advice or support I can.
Would you contribute to the Aussie66 fund then please
I only need about $60000.00 to get there
First you must answer correctly.
Fair Dinkum, Dinki Dai, or True Blue???

On the other side, of the "Mechanic’s signature" coin. If I’m at a car show & see a"plain Jane" 65 Mustang coupe, not really restored & not really modified, more you know, "I’m just makin it a better daily driver" kinda car. I see an owner, either with, no imagination, no display of mechanical skills & knowledge, no Chops, or some one who can’t afford to realize their dreams. What ever, a car, that’s just deadly
B O R E I N G, ….D U L L,….B L A H. I’m totally disinterested & walk away, looking for something worthy. Not the sort of owner, I’d waste any time listening to. Not that I’d tell the poor soul,…unless he asked for it!
I guess you haven't got much to say to a guy like me, who prefers to spend his money on ensuring his family is well looked after as opposed to spending every cent he has on his car. Yep, its a plane jane 66 coupe daily driver that gets updates about once a year when the tax return comes in, but it gets driven, and appreciated by me.
Is w^ankers like you that put people off getting into the hobby in the first place.
I've come accross plenty of people like you, especially at car shows, who are far more interested in what other people think of your ride and how good you are, than simply enjoying the hobby for what it is.
Thats fine, I respect the work thats gone into your car, but clearly you have different priorities to me and many of the guys here, and you have simply come across as an obnoxious arrogantfool, allbeit with a nice car.
I dont know if we have much to say to each other, we havent met face to face, and I have no preconcived notion of who you are. Yeah I could have worded that better, but thanks for the words of encouragement.
OBTW, my family has never suffered from lack, or due to my having spent too much on my Stang. I hope yours continues to be well cared for.
If my car is nice, thank you, I do the work on it myself, thats the only way I can afford it.

Show'em your shoulder belts. Got to be one of the best 3pt installations I've seen.
