Here are the engines for a camaro.
230ci/140HP L6 1BC - non-SS
250ci/155HP L6 1BC - non-SS
302ci/290HP V8 4BC - Z-28 only (HP underrated!)
307ci/200HP V8 2BC - non-SS, 1969 only
327ci/210HP V8 2BC - non-SS, eliminated during 1969
327ci/275HP V8 4BC - non-SS, 1967-68 only
350ci/250HP V8 2BC - non-SS, 1969 only
350ci/255HP V8 4BC - non-SS, regular fuel, 1969 only
350ci/295HP V8 4BC - SS only, rated 300HP in 1969
396ci/325HP V8 4BC - SS only, Q-Jet
396ci/350HP V8 4BC - SS only, Q-Jet
396ci/375HP V8 4BC - SS only, Holley
396ci/375HP V8 4BC - SS only, Holley, Al head
427ci/425HP V8 4BC - COPO 9561, cast iron
427ci/430HP V8 4BC - COPO 9560, Al block/heads

So it really depends on what engine that camaro has under the hood.

Sorry but threads like this are chocked full of too many variables. Engines, transmissions, gears, drivers , surface , tires , weather conditions , hell even the phase of the moon can affect any vehicles performance.

For example a 69 Camaro with the ZL-1 option will surely destroy any 302 Mustang as factory equipped, assuming of course that traction , drivers, road surfaceetc ... areequal. On the other hand if you were to line that same ZL-1 up beside a Boss 429 or Boss 302 or even a 428 SCJ... you'd have a hell of a race once you got past the tire frying exhibition.

With all of these things in mind ... this question is unanswerable.
